    Job Overview:

    Our highly skilled framing carpenters and finish carpenters complete a variety of home remodeling and repair projects for our clients. The Framing Carpenters work on a variety of remodels, additions, and occasionally new builds. They work with the Project Coordinator to ensure the project is completed within scope and on time, they collaborate with other crew members to complete projects, as well as coordinate with specialty trades on the job site. They are hardworking, reliable team players with good communication and organizational skills. They have a can-do, great attitude. They provide excellent customer service while working with our clients.

    Job Overview:

    JM Inc offers a home maintenance program to our clients. As a home maintenance technician, you would be responsible for the repair and upkeep of our clients’ homes. You would ensure their homes are in good working condition and address any issues that may arise.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations on clients’ homes.

    2. Inspect Properties: Regularly inspect our clients’ homes to identify and address maintenance issues such as plumbing leaks, electrical problems, and structural issues.

    3. Carpentry Work: Conduct carpentry work for tasks like repairing doors, windows, and other structural elements.

    4. Painting and Drywall Repair: Perform painting and drywall repair to maintain the aesthetic appeal of homes.

    5. Hardscape Maintenance: Maintain various hardscapes at our clients’ homes, including repairs to retaining walls and patios; cleaning and sealing concrete.

    6. Masonry Maintenance: Minor masonry repair and maintenance.

    7. Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and resolve issues to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.

    8. Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs done on client homes, as well as proper billing and receiving payment.

    9. Communication and Sales: Communicate effectively with clients and other team members to understand and address maintenance needs and be able to sell home maintenance services to our clients.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 3+ years of carpentry experience

    • Proficiency in various home maintenance tasks

    • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and fix issues efficiently

    • Ability to work as a team with the Project Coordinator and other JM team members

    • Outgoing personality that enjoys talking with clients and is able to sell home maintenance services to our clients

    • Pay close attention to detail to ensure that maintenance work is thorough and meets quality standards

    • Self-starter and ability to independently complete tasks

    • Efficiently manage time to prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines

    • Good communication and organizational skills

    • Good phone skills

    • Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination

    Job Description:

    The Design and Selections Coordinator will work with JM clients to coordinate and present the selection options for our clients’ home projects and assist in the decision-making process. Design options include a variety of both interior and exterior finishes, colors, materials, and products. JM does a variety of home remodeling for our clients so selections could range from kitchen cabinets and countertops, to roof shingles and windows, to concrete stamps/colors and landscaping stones. It is the Design and Selections Coordinator’s responsibility to ensure clients make selections that fit within the project scope and budget, as well as keeping the project on time.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and source the selections for each client’s project by working with the Project Consultant, Designer, Purchasing Lead and material suppliers

    • Meet with the homeowners to present selections both in their home and at various suppliers

    • Ensure proper selections according to the project’s scope

    • Ensure compliance with budget and allowances

    • Provide excellent customer service to our clients

    Requirements:

    • Experience in interior/exterior design or similar, at least 3 years of experience preferred

    • Ability to envision and advise clients on their home project design choices

    • Knowledge of a wide variety of interior and exterior materials and finishes related to residential homes

    • Outgoing and friendly demeanor to develop trusting relationship with clients

    • High attention to detail

    • Good communication skills and organizational skills

    • Strong technology, computer, and phone skills

    • Sales related experience a plus

    • CAD experience a plus to be able to back up the CAD Designer when needed
